combination locks?

I'm coming back to this game after a long break, the lock boxes are quite a new feature. I don't understand the hints, the one I was given was 3^<--- ---> so 3 up,left,right.

can anybody tell me what that means? should my answer only be in numbers? or letters?

I had it sort I guess lol, I figured it started with 3 then up when one number higher, then left ment number to the left, then right number to the right on the number row LOL

Just so you know, there's another one. If it doesn't have up or down arrows, and it is a safe dial, it is meant to mimic said safe dial, and the amount of arrows are the amount of dial turns, etc

i usually just skipped it and just carry on looting in case stalker came while im guessing the puzzle hahash

go to the Discord page and search "codes". There's a good jpg with for all the different puzzles. Some are Morse Code, binary, alphabet/number, directional on the number pad, etc...
