I had bought alot of cosmetics just to support the game development. (A couple grand of credits had spent. Hillariously I had not spent that much cash ever in my life to any game)
The artwork for the cosmetics is very nice. Anyhow it doesnt effect anything about the gaming experience or not related to future updates at all.
Coming and going between regret and pride. It would be nice if we could trade those for credits and back same as Df3D.
It would also be very good if Adminpwn himself (and his team) made videos about the game, speaks about future updates, runs live streams with developer friends... what to buy for improving the quality of the game and what is only luxury and for the looks. His opinion about the most usefull skill sets, items, builds. What is it to be at trial mode and will be upgraded or degraded in the future and more.
"You can use credits on Dead Frontier 2 to purchase cosmetics and some utilities as there is no pay-to-win. Alongside of cosmetics, you can also purchase character stat resets indefinitely and a upgrade slot bundle that expands your storage size, trading list caps, and 3 character slots. This can now be done an unknown amount of times, with 3,060 slots presumably as the current record. Go ham."
So no worries on that front. Maybe adminpwn can address this issue in the future.
Also with more cosmetics being added in the future.....there can be more variety and means to spend additional credits. Just a thought, maybe admin can do a event for individuals who dont have gold memberships...that come within a certain place a free cosmetics purchase of sorts. I acknowledge that some might not be in a situation to purchase credits. But i feel that time spend in the game is significant as well. Obviously, this idea is still pretty rough. But with community input maybe this idea can lead to others...which would promote/encourage more play time. Just my 2 cents.
