Bosses on the streets
Saw a lot of complaining in the game. Eh, I dunno. Kind of fun really. Had just few hundred xp missing to a next level, finished clearing a building and was heading to give in last quest to level up. Open a door, heading to a car - tendril is outside and gives me a tickle. Nope! Hurry inside with less than half HP, peek outside again and then sneaky-sneaky to back alley while she is not looking. Crows does not helping but still managed to get out. Was an interesiting getaway and surely made my heart race :) I don't see why people complain that much. Although reward for kill X mobs on the street missions could be raised now given the fact that boss can show up and give you nice shiner while you at it :)

The complaint I heard is ammo spent to kill for crap loot isn't worth it. *sigh* I knew this was coming too, with random roaming boss which mean crap loot rate up.

I avoid bosses mainly due to the ammo and risk factor, as I'm really melee. Though the street ones are kind of fun to join in on and waste some ammo. I don't expect any great loot though, might get an amazing elite one day!

I have no idea why people fight those in the first place. It's not an outpost attack and reward if you even get one can be... not very good :) But those bosses require a lot of ammo so I don't consider it financially viable risk. Market provides a lot of goodies which still have old prices. Rare gear with good bonuses still sold for 200-2000. Some selling for 5-10K but those are mostly Elite and rarely even worth it.

As a danger/surprise factor bosses on street can be fun. Something to avoid unless you really have an itch and a lot of ammo to spend. In that case you don't need to even walk far now. Saw groups that farming those. I doubt they have issues either with money or ammo.

I mean you still get exp even with a bad loot, and i mean sometimes you get something good sometimes something bad, it happens to everyone.

Sure I can agree a jugger or a tendral and lvl 10 place may be a bit of an overkill

but you can easily avoid them, just go along the back of the building if you dont want to fight them.

:greenwizard: This might be the only complain I have on street bosses.

:MrFoster: Tendril & Juggy should stick on Areas 15+ 20+. To be honest these enemies are not a problem for me, but indeed is overkill for players under level 10, specially those 7 / 8 that are starting to visit level 10 zones.

It does seem the bosses for different lvl zones have come down a lvl area in the streets..
tbh I kind of like that, it reminds me alot from df1 where you are wondering the street and boss appears 1 screen from starting area (df1) you could meet a flaming zombie so give more the threat of not being safe outside but makes the game more challenging me personally I like that..But I do understand the lvl 1 - 5 that have at best a half decent pistol or shotgun/rifle makes them feel its too hard and will eventually stop new players enjoying the game due to not having money/ammo/health etc etc and with prices on auction being crazy they can not buy, but all it takes is them to jog/run (depending if they have sprint skill) away to a house to clear it top to bottom looting item.
Unlike the post master here My first time was with a screamer (puns quips jokes) i came (cough) into coppertown about 3 seconds from my car a massive scream scared the hell out of me, so lucky for me i only had to keep distance while me and another guy snipped it while 1 guy watched from the door he came out of not helping just to steal the boss loot he was 4 lvls higher then the guy/girl helping me and i got a rare six shooter so easy money just not enough to pay for the bullets i used up....but still I loved it made it more intense now scared once i leave a building i am going to be gang raped by high lvl bosses..
All I can say is bring on the titan!

I am sure that this update will eliminet new players and there will be only people who plaied df1. It will be to hard for averag player and you have so many games other to play.

it was a bug and they patched it
you couldn't get hurt from the gaze at all as well as vomit, fire from fire zombies on fire, and the flies around bacterial zombies.
but it got patched recently so nothing protects you anymore
shades i hope get reworked or things like helmets and head items that obstruct yoru view but give you immunity from gaze.

I'd like to see Fireman's outfits that make you immune to fire and Biohazard outfits that give high resistance to infection/flies. Possibly not immune at first but upgradeable later.

Annoying as melee to get the hit and move just right to avoid the fire.

Ya, even with some of us patrolling DB to bust their kneecap to make them easy kill for newbie and a little secured still too much, I would say no boss spawn on newbie island map(DB).

Haverbrook and Greywood, fair game.

So me and a bud went to Alban for some hunting and a tendril comes outta the blue. I tried to shoot it but i choked and it chased my bud and clapped his ass while i made my escape to the nearest building. I later got clapped by a Choir later out of karma. felt bad but also so funny at the same time

As lootable cosmetics yes. As part of the credit shop? Very iffy and might not fly.

No as items obtainable in game, might happen as more armour / clothing types were mentioned in upcoming future features.
