The Short answer is NO
Even if that story is True, there's no way the game is Pay-to-win for everyone else
Look for yourself what your credits can buy. There's nothing we normal players can buy that gives us any real edge in the game (except maybe for more storage space)
Everything for sale for real money is purely cosmetic.
Also the first DF1 was pay-to-win, and everyone who bought stuff for that game is technically financially supporting the developer. Alot of the funds the developer used for DF2 came from the profits of the first game
You do get rewards for making purchases from the first game but these too are purely cosmetic
Maybe you could give us the name of these people and we can search their profile for ourselves?
I cant help but laugh, someone got their P2W mix up.
Also OP, the reason there is gear worth that much in the game is because people use the market as a storage unit. They put prices like that to prevent people from buying them. There are no p2w mechanics in the game, you can't buy money, you can't sell cosmetics worth credits.
It is assuredly NOT P2W.
