Anyways, this isn't a FPS, so it shouldn't have an FPS view. It's fine the way it is, it's just not the game for you obviously.
edit: cause i cant spell
There is a specific sound when they spawn. Idk what game you are playing. Believe me i have over 200 hours. Also you didnt see me mention that having the option to switch from 1st to 3rd would be amazing. Also i said having the option to switch from 1st to 3rd would be amazing. I was not talking solely 1st person. Please read all before responding :)
I have 300 hours of play, so according to your logic, agree with me and don't respond, just short "You are right"... because you know 300 hours.
• First person models of all the weapons and clothing in the game.
• Animations for melee and guns. Recoil, reloads, melee swings and swapping weapons.
• First person arms.
• Creating a new camera system from scratch.
• Probably way more I'm missing. I'm not a game developer.
Something like this would take months even for a full-size dev team. I'd much rather see more integral fixes and content. Honestly doubt we will ever see first person.
Quoted from the dev blog,
Updates Coming Soon
To sum everything above up, here is what I'm planning to add in the very near future:
Mini random outdoor events like bosses and hordes
A dedicated outdoor pvp zone
An automap
Market redesign
Small UI qol improvements
Small mission improvements
Cash sink(s)
Bug fixes! (as always)
Updates Coming Not Quite So Soon
After the above are complete, I will mostly like move on to Outpost Attacks and the first content update :)

That's not true.
1) Having the camera slightly to the side will avoid the camera getting too close to you.
There is a reason why 90% of 3* person shooters use this formula...
And since when this is an issue? It's easyer to adapt to that than the wonky camera of this game.
I don't remember EVER having problems aiming in RE4 or Dead Space on the other hand with some practice you can become a sharpshooter god in those games thx to the camera mechanics.
Plus this game still has the bug that if the camera is too close to your chara you'll miss melee hits making you pass through zombies.
2) Something gets behind you CONSTANTLY in this game:
-Every time you enter a door.
-Enemies.
-Walls when you're cornered.
-Tall furniture (like wardrobes or tall lamps).
I grew accostumed to those issues but that doesn't remove em from the game, i just adapted to it, so saying "the game works well like this" means that you're ignoring the elephant in the room (it's probably standing too close behind you xP)
