Loading Issues?

I've paid for and downloaded the game, but I cannot get the game to pass the initial loading screen of the man in the boat...

The game has been uninstalled and reinstalled with the same issue. Anybody else dealing with this?

This is still an issue, for me, at least. The poor guy just rows and rows, but remains stuck in the weeds. I do not have Bitdefender, just the defender that ships with Windows10.

Having this reoccuring in the form in which it doesnt give me any options but gives me a blank screen with a tan border, as if it cannot concieve of what it is going to load but wants to help me. Not sure if this is on my end and will see what will happen if I restart my computer as its just being all kinds of funky as its harddrive goes. Anyway.

Just faced this issue, but i have no antivirus and DX is fine, resolved it by launching .exe file from game folder with Administrator rights (RMB-Run as Admin)

Same problem with win 10. BTW other games from the same company are good to go.

heyy.. so for me it worked when i selected the windows defender to not look over the game's archives

I'm on a mac with Big sur and had the same problem. Apparently when installing, both Paradise and The White door have the access to documents unticked in Settings>Security&Privacy>Files and Folders. Ticking the folders allows the rowing man to carry you into the game. THis didn't happen for the other games in the collection.

I was having this issue too. I have a Mac. What I did to resolve the issue was go into system preferences, search for "allow apps access to files," click on the lock icon at the bottom left of the window, search for RustyLakeParadise, double click it, and then click the lock icon again. This worked for me.

The game did not start, I tried everything that is described about Adobe Air. As a result, changing the sound quality from 32 bit 384 kHz to 16 bit 44 kHz helped me. Everything worked.
