yo Mave have u tried X5 or any other X2LC game because they run normal for me its sooooooo weird .... CAPCOM REEEEEEE
This is not my footage, but my games play just like this. Main menu of launcher, works fine, but in game is super laggy like shown. All 8 in both collections have this lag.
The opening cutscene of X8 has the subtitles way out of wack. Once the sentire dialonge and scene is about to end, you finally get to see the 2nd chunk of subtitles.
Things i have tried:
Manully going into game file, turn off VSync, set refresh rate to 60.00Hz, run steam and this game as Admin, open up my Nvidia control panel and set Vsync off there as well, changed the "power management mode" to 'Prefer maximun performance'.
I cannot get anything to run properly. Whats annoying is a can go into the room and boot up X, and X4 and see the speed they are suppossed to be.
I am very close to asking for a refund. Im not sure what there is left to do.
Open, Run as Administrater, troubleshoot compatibility, pin to start, pin to start menu (classic shell), pin to taskbar, scan with malwarebytes, etc..., properties.
Inside properties, i set it to run as admin default.
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: WINDOWS® 7 (64bit)
Processor: Intel® Core™ i3 550 3.2GHz or AMD equivalent or better
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 or ATI Radeon™ HD 7850
I have:
OS: Windows 8.1 (64bit)
Processor: AMD FX9tm) - 6300 Six-Core Processor 3.50 GHz
Memory: 16 GB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650
oh my god... my video card is not good enough... wow.
Just installed on roomates computer. launched normally, plays just fine...
From x1-x8
I am thinking of a refund
I am thinking of a refund as well
it's not optimized for nvidia user, as i can run it full speed without using GPU (believe me i played a lot that i still remember how fast mmx1 start screen bounce speed).
be it from right click>run with graphic processor>integrated unit, or from nvidia control panel.
might need more clarification with amd.
also some lines changed in my config.ini:
JobThread=4
RefreshRate=60.00Hz
TextureDetail=HIGH
VSYNC=OFF
it does however, suffer a lot when you change the resolution (as by using integrated unit), but not screen mode.
Amd phenom II 965
Gtx 960 ti 2gb
8gb ram
Win 10 pro
It can really be a problem especially with Nvidia users, because all the games Originally released for Consoles and Consoles mostly have ATI/AMD Hardware as standard. I think Capcom will fix it.
