Slowdown & Input Lag Issue in Mega Man X-X3
I don't understand why Capcom had gone with SNES ROMs to emulate via MT Framework Engine? Since vast majority of users use modern machine nowadays, Capcom should've port PS2/Gamecube Version which has zero slowdown whatsoever. Also, why can't Capcom include cutscenes, different soundtrack, and game sound effects, regarding Mega Man X3 which was released later on Playstation, PS2/Gamecube Version? Last but not least, why's it in DirectX 10 API instead of DirectX 11 API?! Using DirectX 10 API may result poor performance optimization. And besides, vast majority of PC players are using DirectX 11 based Graphics Card. So what's the point of using DirectX 10 API?

As far as Input Lag concern, the original MMX Collection feels more snappy and responsive, compared to MMXLC 1+2.

DX11 is, for most people, less problematic than DX10. That's a fact.

Not sure how much of a difference an API change would have for those having issues though, but Sammy does have a point.

because they would do it if they are old games, tell me how these games would take advantage of the DX11 API, if Capcom wanted these games to run in DX10 it is because Capcom saw it very logical

DirectX 11 API would've solved compatibility and performance-wise since vast majority of PC users are using DX11 GPU.

Whatever problem this game has is most likely not related to it using DX10 to begin with.

I still say that these are very old games to ask for DX11, so stop crying that you are not suffering from problems

Already made an assumption... And no, I'm not crying. I'm disappointed.

I didn't notice any input lag until I changed the resolution settings from the default 1280x720 to 1600x900 windowed, I dunno if that helps.

i have that problem too, is there a way to fix it?

The only way I've found to mitigate input latency is to use a wired controller. Such as plugging in your controller via USB regardless of whether it's a 360/One/Elite/DS3/DS4/Switch Pro/otherwise.

Because it doesn't need to be broadcast and translated, its faster. Bonus points using USB3.0.

i've tried that, using a USB controller don't change the fact that the inputs are bad and on X3 some inputs the game just decided to not interact with. Getting bit defeated with only the x-blaster was a nightmare with megaman not jumping and dashing when i told him to do it

the truth is true, DX10 is not the problem, the problem is that Capcom does not know how to optimize the game, besides this Sammy is forcing the game to be only DX11, since according to the performance would improve, something I do not believe
