But yeah x6 has top 10 best ost in gaming, of course is miles better compared to x4. Also as much as i'm a fan of x6, it is a bad game, and x4 is miles better both in design and pace. X6 has the better art direction and ost (is the best megaman artistically speaking), but the level design, artifitially hard mechanics and annoying collection of power ups (i love the game, but i hate the reploids that have to be saved) makes the game an awful experience for anyone who didn't grew with it and isn't playing a modded version like mmx6 tweaked. Megaman x4 though has some great level design, bosses, direction, gameplay, and is artistically solid although not better than x6 in that front, so overrall it is the better game (although x6 will forever be my fav closely followed by x1)
Dont care about Persona since it looks lame.
But give me Scooby Doo all day long, atleast its fun!
Well except Velma recent show i heard that show is bad, probably because they went with this advice.

I could talk about what X6 does right despite some flaws for a very long time, but I think one of the main points is that it actually has depth: the Nightmare system, boss levels, rescues, parts system and certain paths requiring certain weapons/parts/effects to get through means that routing requires thought and no playthrough is ever the same. In X4, every level is essentially equal and that also means when ignoring items (which is easy to do since, just like X3, almost all of them aren't useful enough to get), you don't need to think about stage order at all.
The only thing X6 got against it is the enemy spawn choice. Usually its right infront of you which is legit unfair. But i dont think that should count as a reason for it being a bad game since it does so much right in any other way.
But agreed, X3 is great!
I have updated my list now though to this.
Sure X7 is bad in execution of gameplay but.. the music in X4, i mean it just has so much more going against it. X5 flaw is too much text but give it some cred though, it atleast improved the lore compared to how bland and forgettable X4 was
List from best to worst
- : Megaman X6 - 9/10
- : Megaman X3 - 10/10
- : Megaman X5 - 7/10
- : Megaman X1 - 8/10
- : Megaman X2 - 6.5/10
- : Megaman X8 - 6/10
- : Megaman X7 - 5/10
- : Megaman X4 - 3/10

Agreed. X4 has some of the best music in the series to me.
Disagree on this one. Sorry, not sorry, but the Ground Scaravich music makes my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ears bleed. It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad. That alone, if nothing else, knocks it down a lot.
Commander Yammark stage music is mid. Shielder Sheldon stage music is mid. Gate's Laboratory Stage is an annoying remix of a mid song from X2.
Most of the other songs are solid, but there are just too many annoying tracks in X6 to be considered top 10. No where near close.
I'm kind of a sucker for ice levels anyway. But still.
Fair enough honestly, even if I completely disagree
I dunno, that one guy on YouTube made a good case for Scaravich's music being decent.

Gotta admit, he's right, it does actually make a good hip-hop/rap beat.
They went all out with X6 though, that's for sure.
That said, I generally prefer X4's gameplay to X6's not because of the difficulty (I don't find X6 to be too hard, but I'm an old dinosaur from the early romhack masochist crowd) but the pacing.
X4's pacing is excellent (with one notable exception) while X6 drags to a crawl at several points if you don't spam screen-clearing attacks or abuse the Nova Strike starting on Ultimate Armor. (especially Ground Scaravich, Blaze Heatnix, most of Gate's Lab 2)
That one exception? Well, X6 has one big plus going in its favor over X4, and really, every MMX game from X4 onward: It doesn't include any those stupid, gimmicky auto-scrolling Ride-Chaser stages.
I play Mega Man X to play...MegaMan X. Not Babby's Furst Racing Game Maker Project.
As a Mega Man fan since I was a child im gonna say, X6 is the worst of the three 32 bits games, I like the game, I love it, but is the worst, the nightmare mechanic is painful, it's not funny that the rainy turtoid level gets darker bc the nightmare effect, even so it's pretty good, of course, I say this in an objective way, objectively speaking Mega Man X4 is the best of the 3 games of 32 bits, because it has a pretty good story plus the soundtrack is not as bad as you say, and the gameplay and mechanics are good, now if we talk about what I think personally, my favorite of that trilogy is the X5, and the worst Mega Man X game is X7 of course
Thats the problem. The story. It has to be the center, not the gameplay. Say what you want about text interuption in X5. But man did they fix the lore to something relevant and better interms of game design.
Megaman X4 is kinda like Hitman Absolution. Good if you are into Hollywood movies. But bad if you want intellectual game design to it.
