Am I the only one that isn't having issues so far?
I have zero issues with input lag so far. Any slowdown I've experienced in X1 is perfectly consistent with the SNES version; i.e. really accurate emulation.

Is it just optimization issues regarding low/middle end hardware? I ask this because even though my computer isn't super new, it can still run new games without too much frame loss on high settings (i5-4590, R9-290X). If that's the case, then that sucks because lower end hardware these days can emulate these games just fine.

I'll post my info once I get around playing the SNES games (So far I played the rest of the games and had no issues with them). Wanna make sure I don't have any input lag there.
I have a bit of slowdown, but its not gamebreaking.

To be fair X3 always had input eating during bosses like tunnel rhino and his miniboss.

With that said , I haven't tried the collection yet (waiting for it to get better) so not sure on other places having input lag.

Tunnel Rhino and Byte are the worst with input issues and this is coming from someone who has beaten X3 around 10-50 times.

For me it's fine, even with a wireless controller. I press X, it shoots a lemon. No wait. I get more latency on SNES Classic easily, this is close to Higan performance.

Frames chug where they do on SNES, and frankly some of the bosses (Violen) seem better than actual hardware.

Love it when I press jump in X3 and the little blu boi doesnt clucking jump. Great game. Not infuriating at all. NOPE.

A lot of the issues with the old SNES games seem like issues I had with emulators like ZSNESW in my best PC. I have a 1060GTX yet was getting choppy low framerates in SNES games my older single-core and dual-core machines ran fine on various emulators years ago. Once I lowered emulator resolution on ZSNESW and disabled Sound Sync on SNES9X they were running better. I've been having trouble with emulators and their latest versions this year, this collection seems to suffer similar issues.

That's weird, especially considering that SNES emulation has been around for literally decades. We've pretty much perfected it a long time ago. Yet, for some people, the latest versions run horribly. The only way that would be even remotely possible would be due to incompetency on the emulator dev's part.

Like seriously? They can't optimize an emulator for a system that's pushing 30 years old? What a joke.

Guess I'm just lucky.
Zero is Virus/Crash Proof but regular Reploids don't stand a chance....

My only issue is that there is no Keyboard or resolution support

OK... So I'm playing MMX right now and I have no issues with input lag or jumping right now. Anyone on the fence on whether to buy this or not you really should give it a try by yourself and see if you have any issues.

The PC version is clearly unreliable right now, but if you love the series and actually want the collections then buy them and try them by yourself. If ♥♥♥♥ happens then refund them, it's easy as that.

I'll go test the SNES games a bit more but so far X1 is superb, zero issues on my end, all of my jumps work fine, all of my dash jumps come out fine too, I really have NO IDEA what could possibly cause some people to have input lag but it's definitely not an universal case.

The input lag is mostly in X3 with the bigger bosses like Tunnel Rhino, this happens on emulaters with a good fps and more. I am not denying that others have input lag, but you will likely find it in X3.

So tried these settings and unfortunately the game still crashes for me. I don't know what it is that's messin it up. Here goes the specs on my PC.

Windows 7 Enterprise
Intel i7-4790K
16GB DDR4
AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
1TB HD

Hopefully it's not a Windows 7 issue. :(
