Did not get "Mavericks After All" achievement (beat X4 with Zero)

I sat through the credits until the screen said "Thank You For Playing". Button presses couldn't do anything, so I quit the game. Noticed the MAA achievement didn't trigger, but I got "It's Definitely Over".

did you unlock "Tragic Destiny" after the credits (achievement for beating x4 without rookie mode) or did that one fail to pop too?

Didn't get that either, and I wasn't using Rookie Mode.

If you used rookie hunter mode AT ALL during your playthrough, then it disables getting that achievement for that save file. I had to learn that the hard way for when i beat x1. The only way to get the achievement now is to do a new game and beat the game again

I'm very sure I never turned on Rookie Hunter Mode at any point. I should at least try beating the game with X first before I start again.

Yeah, and if you want it to be quick and easy then I'd use the ultimate armor cheat

I don't know why they'd do it this way, but it might require you to beat the game as X first. Seems silly to do it that way... but... you know... capcom

it's worth noting there's an achievement for beating x4 without ultimate armor, if they're keen on achievements

X4 is easy with X anyway.

After the "Thank you for Playing" it'll be followed by "Presented by Capcom" and after that a bit will have a bit more. It's a long wait for that whole thing to finish but it will go back to title screen eventually, Achievements should pop up by then
