Yes you were picked up by or cheat detection, any form of memory injection will be picked up and banned. As you Have taken the time to admit what you did wrong I will unban you so you can continue to play.
If you really want gems, you can get 100 for every gold medal time. If you find a level easy enough to get a gold time it should be easy enough to aquire gems legitimately.
I'd also like to ask you very kindly to remove the negative review you left.
Hey Seck,
I've also done the same thing. I just used cheat engine to glitch my gems as ive already completed most of the game. I'm sorry. I don't play online either, and you'll see my records are fairly paltry. No malice intentions to mess with other players. I just wanted some pretty marbles. Can you please un-ban me? I promise not to do it again. You are welcome to wipe my records as well, as punishment. lol
I have unbanned you.
I have unbanned your account from the game.
Please make sure to remove Cheat Engine from your computer, or any sort of macro programs which may inject into the game as it will automatically detect something trying to cheat the game.
Hi. I also got banned due to a similar bug. I do not use macro programs, and I don't even have Cheat Engine on my computer. After purchasing some marble skins, it just banned me for no reason.
I assume the bug was similar, I attempted buying some skins and it seems the connection wasn't stable, as the skins weren't being purchased. I made a thread about it here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/742460/discussions/0/3881597531961176117/
If I were to assume, the game may have thought I had a higher amount of gems than I actually have on the servers. It may have triggered a double purchase when I only attempted to buy it once.
It seems there has been at least 3 people with the same store bug. I wouldn't matter much if I had this ban but still could play, and get Steam achievements.
There was Blind_Frog from the thread, me from the discussion I posted, and this other reviewer, all with the same bug: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198142531409/recommended/742460/
Edit: Originally I thought I couldn't play the game anymore due to being banned, as there was a giant message and a blur blocking my gameplay. It seems that after restarting the game the message disappears.
I was quietly watching a live stream of my favorite streamer, when suddenly he starts to get into Marbles on stream, in racing mode. And every time I put !play it appears that I'm banned and won't let me participate in the race.
Please I need help.
I was doing a little pre-purchase research when I saw this message thread.
If the desired goal is to keep cheaters from ranking against other players, then isn't an absolute ban sort of a nuclear option and major overkill? Wouldn't it accomplish your goal to simply ban them from the rankings without disabling their ability to play solo?
This is what is done now, the autoban system has been disabled in favour of replay moderation.
