All that being said, DQ11 is still a great game. It's a classic JRPG with modern graphics. The characters are a riot. I'm having fun. I don't buy into very many feature-poor RPGs, but I make the occasional exception, and DQ11 has been very worthwhile.
In fact, i dislike that customization, because i hate seeing how other people don't play as the same character as me XD
I love that game for what it is to me: an old school JRPG with modern techniques
Alright so we got Zelda and this game. There's just not too many other games (worth playing) where the main character is both completely set in stone and also entirely silent with minimal input for the story apart from killing things dead. I'm not telling anyone off for playing this game, I'm just saying that'd have been a feature that would've made me a lot less reluctant to buy this game, it was kind of "should I?" case anyways.
The armor sets all look great.
Just me? Okay. I'll just stay here by my lonesome then. ;_;
Seriously though, while I do like character customization, I'm not bothered by the lack of it in the slightest. Sure, would have been a cool feature. But I think the main character works just as he is, after all, A Dragon Quest by any other name would just be as sweet. =3
This game is amazing and I love all the characters, even the Hero. =3
