I need help with a couple side quests.

I think Gondolia is cursed or something. I have TWO side quests, and i cant seem to figure out who to talk to so i can complete them. I have this sinking suspicion, BOTH of the people i need to talk to are behind that locked gate. But just incase i'm doing something wrong, I'm requesting help locating these people.

The first quest requires me to find the Gallopolis guard's sister who works at a bakery in Gondolia. I've been all over the town, cant find her.

The second quest is from a mermaid who wants me to find a boy who can sing. The only clue is Gondolia. So i went to town and noticed the bard who's singing, and all he says is there's a voice from the sea that's much better then he. So that's just the very essence of vague.

any help with these 2 quests would be wonderful

No clue about the singing one but the naker is sweeping outside Doge's house, by the locked door.

You needed to read the mermaid quest more in detail..she said she heard tha boy sing, 50 years ago...so clearly not a boy anymore. You're looking for an old man, he's near the mr universe square, looking at the sea.

Oh, i was aware of the life span issue. Due to the fact that mermaids can live hundreds of years, i assumed it was the boy's descendant or something. So that's why i said it was vague. It could have been any gender, any age. But thanks for clearing it up. Also, i came across a guide for all the side quests. :-D

also, i just talked to that old man looking out into the sea. he didnt say anything regarding the mermaid.. maybe i need to talk to him again.

Edit: Nevermind, wrong old man. There was another old man looking out into the sea.
