Erik dual wield is funnily strong

Dual wield + Falcon Knife + (Divide skill) + oomphle is completely hilarious. I wonder what happens if you get a second Falcon Knife for him to equip. This does more than his cobra strike + victimiser or sleeper hit + persecuter by twice which is entirely RNG if the enemy gets the status affect or not.

If you guys are wondering what I'm talking about, dual wield lets him attack twice, Falcon knife let's him do one extra hit so that's 3 hits multiply that by 3 with his Divide skill (triple attacks) which is 9x hits. With oomphle at level 30 I'm doing 75+~ damage per hit and times that by 9 which is around 675 damage in one turn, well. That's a lotta damage when Veronica only does at most 100~ per spell.

A second falcon will do nothing, There's a 3 hit limit, as far as I know.

Here's a screenshot of how it looks like, forgot I had pepped up when I did around 75+ damage per hit. It's still 60 per hit (or 540 still a huge damage) and because it's 9 hits in one turn you have a higher chance of critting I believe (screenshot shows one of the hits critting for around 100).

Ah damn that would be crazy funny if there wasn't and you were doing 12 hits instead of 9, that'd be hilariously OP. Oh well. Thanks for clarifying!

Nope, double falcon does work. I never saw another falcon knife earring, but two falcon swords does 4 hits.

Want to make it better, plop a crit boost like the Assassin card with a +3 on it. Increases both Deftness and adds flat crit rates. I get crits every second or so attack. Use doppelganger before that, and you have a sizable chance to murder whatever is infront of you. I got FOUR crits off with one doppelganger attack once. Sure they are not as powerful as crits from other weapons, but bloody 'ell are they frequent and fun.

So two questions then, where do you get that knife and earring? I'm in the middle of phnom penh (spelling?) story stuff but I've been exploring the world and zooming around a lot so I'd like to pick these up asap lol.

Secondly the only thing I've seen do more damage than that is a 4 person giga slash pep power.

The Falcon Knife Earring is a dagger, when but once you have the ability to unlock and open the red doors in Puerto Valor a chest will contain the knife, which you aren't very far from, very close to unlocking the ability to, just progress the main story.

Edit: Also with pepped up I can outdamage that, and this setup requires no rng like pep up or status effects on enemies to do large damage.

I had a bit of trouble in that dungeon as well, I was able to beat her albeit a tad annoying at around level 28 and under? I can't remember but I had a party of the MC, Rab, Serena, and Sylvando. I had Serena keep up kabuff (two stacks) + hymn of fire and putting up the anti-status ability on Sylvando because he has an AoE heal and an ability to slap cure your party members from status effect. Rab kept up his 22 hp regen per turn when he can and do damage. Serena healed and MC and Sylv would also contribute damage but do heals if needed. She'll die eventually.

That's a very good strategy I had been using Jade, Hero, Syl and Rab but even with the double AoE heals she just stacks too much damage too fast even with Sylv's slow spell applied twice. It really does seem that I should get a level or two on everyone and switch Serena for her Fire Hymn so thanks very much for the tip haha.

And I thought that Octopus was hard LOL! Hard monsters is so damned amazing!
