It's like in the beginning of the game when Veronica asks to join your party. You are prompted with yes/no. But every time you pick no, she'll keep saying "what's that? I didn't hear you" till you say yes.
if you lie to her it DOES change what happens...
she ends up telling you how to get underwater and giving you the harp without going back to lonalulu. its an entirely different cut scene.
This.
They're both ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up endings, it just depends on which you want more.
Her story is the most disturbing ever in this game. If you choose to lie, she lives. If you choose to tell the truth, she dies. However, the story will not end there. As for the reason, you will know later.
I just like, "WTF,......alllll rightttt."
Major Spoilers after "The Big Event"
What happens if you go back there during the 2nd half of the game after ♥♥♥♥ goes down? Is she still waiting? If the Demons got her... at least she didnt have to wait centuries? So that's good, right?
She's right there sitting on her rock again in the post-game, acting as though I lied to her. Then a little side quest plays out that makes no sense even given the shenanigans going on the plot beforehand. Very Strange.
