Man I just can't do this Act 3 Post game stuff. (SPOILERS)

I finished the main game in about 100 hours on stronger monsters with less XP. It was amazing. Probably my favorite JRPG behind Suikoden 2.

Then I went and smashed that time crystal and wow. I'm not used to games having a post-game like this where its just got loads of new content. My problem is I can't get motivated to play it now because I feel like when I bashed Mordegon then that should've been it. The pacing just feels off for me.

And then I look in my quest log and there's like an extra 30 quests out there for me to do all of a sudden. And there's these trials, and more horse races and apparantly I can rebuild Cobblestone as well. And who knows what else. The amount of content in this game is nuts. It's literally too much for me. I've really enjoyed all the systems so far, but damn it'll be like 150-200 hours for me to do everything, and I just can't keep interested in them for that much longer.

And I want to play Assassin's Creed Oddyssey in 3 days and there's no way I'll get this post game stuff done even if I play pretty heavily.

So to clarify, you are complaining because this game has TOO much to do?

I've done it in a couple of days. It's not that much.

Most people get really hooked in this 3rd act, actually. I was losing some interest in the 2nd and now I'm determined to get the 100%

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not having a go at the game. I thought it was amazing, but I hate not finishing games, and with the way this one is structured and paced, it's like I've sorta finished it, but not really.

Nice. I really liked the 2nd act myself. Didn't really expect the story to go the way it did with that.

I like the setup for Act 3 how you go back in time to save Veronica, but damn, it just feels like everything I did was for naught.

Also, Serena was an asbolute beast for me when she had Veronica's powers. I'd rather Veronica had stayed dead so I could have kept super Serena.

Don't get "discouraged", the battles and trials are fun and with all your knowledge and quick travel you'll get all done in no time.

I think I'm just going to call it done. Maybe I'll come back and replay it in a couple of years and try to do everything, probably not with Stronger Monsters though lol.

There's just too many good games coming out in the next few weeks that I want to play.

I'm the sorta gamer who won't come back to it later. I just got to finish one game at a time. I'll replay it later. Maybe they'll add some DLC or expansions or something by then. Actually, there's more than enough content now. I don't need more lol.

You can always disable the draconian quest if you think that' goping to make this too long. There's some really nice things in this act.

I was thinking about that, as I can't get past those MMA fighters at the moment.

Problem is I disabled it when I was having trouble with Mordegon to see how much easier it was and I had absolutely zero trouble so I went back to the older save. I've mostly enjoyed the difficulty thus far and stronger monsters off might be just too easy for me.

Never played any other DQs except for The Cursed King one. I didn't do the post stuff in that either.

Post game is basically what you know about the base game, but you went back in time and you can do things right this time, you can help the people that you coudn't before and change their fates. This was my first DQ game, and when i saw the true ending i was inspired to play the previous titles that have lore conection with this.
