Maximize performance on a RX580?
Here are my specs:
Ryzen 7 2700x
Radeon RX580
Crucial MX500 SSD
16 GB ram (2933 mhz)
running @1080p 60fps

I have no problems in towns, only small 5fps drops in certain spots in Heliador and Gondolia.
The problem are the outer areas, I have huge drops to 45 (maybe even less sometimes) fps in certain areas or certain specif
spots, and even in some cutscenes. Is there a way to stabilize the framerate?

Theres something wrong with your pc or drivers. I have a ryzen 7 2700x, xfx 570 and 16 gigs of ram and rarely dip below 55fps

I frgot to mantion that I have a 4GB card, maybe the VRAM is not enough?

I have a similar system. No major issues with max settings at 1080p. Make sure you are running in Fullscreen mode. Windowed mode seems to be unstable.

I have an i5 Alienware Alpha R2 console plugged into a graphics amplifier with a Sapphire AMD RX 580 Nitro+ 8GB. Lowest settings. The game boots, runs for 10-20 minutes, the sound eventually stutters and skips, causes slowdown, and completely crashes windows 10. Unplayable.

I am currently disconnecting the eGPU, updating the internal GTX 960 4GB drivers, and am going to see if it's playable at all on the weaker card.

nope its the games fault and it needs patched but yet i get everyone on here telling me that square enix have abandoned the game.

just checked steamdb. I can't believe my eyes, but there is a patch being tested by the looks of it. I would not be surprised if its just a denuvo update or a means to block the music mod from working though

theres nothing wrong with his pc its 100% the games fault because its poorly coded. the op mentioned he only gets fps drops in specific spots just like i do. i have come to believe the majority if not everyone gets these fps drops and it just doesnt bother them and think its a non issue while alot of us do.

its the usual crowd of people that refuse to use framerate counters and think they're getting better fps than what they are.

Vision doesn't impact your ability to feel fps drops either, my vision is kinda bad and I can notice a 1 fps drop.

Errr, the lower the number the better when it comes to vision. 15/15 is better vision than 20/20.

well reguardless i just feel that people notice them and just dont care about it enough to complain.

i also got wind of an incoming patch too from square enix i just hope its just not for denuvo and and to block the music mod like someone pessimisticly claimed.
