How does pep up work?
And what I mean is, what is it's rhythm behind if there's any, I know for sure that after a certain amount of turns pep up probability increases until it reaches a 100% probability, and also that sometimes taking critial damage or just barely surviving an attack instantly triggers pep up.

But aside from that it is unknown to me what other factors or conditions affects getting pep up (besides items and skills) on a character, do any of you have a clue?

I find that around the 15th turn you automatically pepsi up. The "10% increased chance to pep up" skills never really made much of a diff. Normally if two of my characters lost their pepsi power, they'd pepsi it up about together the next time. Pep sounds stupid though.

Funny enought the spanish translation has a better name (since usually spanish is a copy&paste from any english translation) calling it literally "inspiration power".

Also, thanks for the fact, never really decided to expend turns counting how many does it need to trigger it.

I spent about 15 hours almost (I think) grinding from level 52 to 99. I used the Pep up method where you use Hero + Erik + Jade to use Hallelujah followed by making Hero + Jade + Sylvando to use Electro Light which summons metal slimes. Then critical murder commences. Very annoying method tbh. If you ever are in post game, just map your ps4 controller in steam to spam X button (i have it mapped on L1 button. So if it's held down, it'll keep spamming X like a turbo controller), then go into Octagonia and his at the slot machine that requires 100 tokens minimum. Wedge your controller in between to heavy objects so that one of the heavy objects (like a book) is compressing the L1 button (basically mashing X button for you) and leave the game. Over night I went from 2500 tokens to 9,999,999. Then buy as many pep pips as you want from the casino (instantly peps you)
