I find it unfortunate that in your comment you feel as if you're being ignorant for not accepting a choice in lifestyle placed before you that is not the norm (e.g. homosexuality).
Accepting something because one is told to, is ignorant, and intellectually weak.(I am NOT saying this about you, or asserting that you have done so)
If one disagrees with something, based on personal convictions, it is perfectly fine, and acceptable. It does not make one ignorant.
Ignorance comes when one discriminates against people because of those convictions, tries to force those convictions on others through peer pressure etc., without reason.
Likewise, ignorance comes when one labels others merely because they disagree, and seeks to call those people unintelligent based solely on a difference in opinion.
My point being that disagreeing with homosexuality as a lifestyle choice for some reason, standing alone, is not ignorant.
Regardless of what Sylv's sexuality is supposed to be he brings something the party didn't have, and even in the scenes before he joins the party he is already showing that he is far more than "just" a flamboyant jester. I like it :D
Wich he isn't.
I guess it really depends on the personal preference but i could have gone well without him (especially without the parade scene that comes near the end of the game).
At least the people who are hostile are honest and don't pretend to virtue signal that they are good people with as little effort as possible.
I think you missed a few opportunities to use your newly learned phrase "virtue signaling" in that post. Want to edit it and add more?
