The roulette quest has to be the worst in the game.

how can one reliably complete a quest when the entire thing is based on chance because you gotta bet on the color the the jackpot arrow lands on plus you have to get the stupid ball to land in said hole too.

so for thos that completed it how did you do it because this is stupid.

i got it within 10 minutes.

Ive hit 5 jackpots over the course of the game after casinos became available.
Theres strategy to it. ( more so the roullete wheel)

the card game is workable.

The slot machines pay out more than they take over a period of a half hour or longer ( in most cases I believe)

Talk to the girl by the jackpot tower until she says she feels someone is going to hit the jackpot soon. If she doesn't say it u have to sleep at the inn and repeat.

Put 1 token on every number(just the numbers don't worry about even/odd or color and you should hit jackpot real fast.

Yep. Quest is easy when you do that. I was just save scuming to win 210K tokens at a time and got it on my 7th try. Was lucky but w/e.

This right here; you should pretty much always at least make back your bet this way; if you have enough tokens you can max bet and to make it slightly easier on yourself, you can just hold whatever you've got bound as X on an Xbox controller and scroll right to the end of the first row of numbers (so you're max betting on each number as well as each space in between each number); go down a row to the next set of numbers, hold X and go left, then X and right on the last set of numbers (so you have 3 rows of max bets)... again you should still break even/slightly above even and it's slightly less tedious/easier to do each time. On the most expensive table I think each bet cost like 144000, but I already had over a million tokens from earlier casino ventures

On GameFAQs people were saying the predictive powers of the bunny girl are pretty irrelevant. I just brute forced the roulette myself as I described above and got it after a handful of tries, probably less than 10.

I don't think there's a quick save/quick load feature so probably the other user just used the menu to return to the main menu and loaded the quick save (the game will quick save when you transition in/out of an area, so you could do that to trigger a quick save and reload if you need to save scum)

i swear i think the roulette table is programed to never let you when because i was about to win the jackpot 10 damn times but the damn roulette wheel spinned just enough to where the arrow was pointing at the slot that had the ball.

Actually there's a post saying to save scum till the bunny girl talks about the jackpot then bet on 12 and 14 and you're gonna get it fast, yup just those 2 numbers for some odd reason, says they saw it over on reddit and there's enough people backing it that it seems legit. I haven't tested it myself yet but it wouldn't surprise me that there's a quirk like that.

Worst quest I think was the pep quest to finish off the giant octopus on the east side of the map. RNG to get the fight in the first place since you're on the boat, then you need to literally deal a killing blow on it with a crappy pep ability that deals lousy damage without knowing exactly how close to killing you are other than the vague orange text of it's name.

This jackpot one is pretty awful too.

i tried over 100 damn time only for those 13 times out of 100 for the game to troll the absolute hell out of me by making the wheel spin just enough to where the arrow is no longer pointing at the slot that has the ball. its driving me crazy.
