I wouldn't really know without testing and if you're worried about it you could always save, try one combo, reload, try the other, then decide. If you're just at the casino for the first time, though, having either combo will make you way more powerful than you need to be and carry you for a long time, and eventually you'll be able to craft your own metal slime (and liquid metal slime) swords anyway
Also worth noting that Falcon Slash moves don't fully benefit with Falcon Blades; for example, you only get 3 hits from a Falcon Slash move even if you're dual wielding two Falcon Blades (the primary weapon is the one that gets used twice in the Falcon move, which is why it's better to have a stronger weapon in the primary hand)
Anyway, all said weapons get obsolete...
Do get the Gringham Whip though. Its the best you'll find in part 2 and you'll get a recipe to upgrade it.
