The game is not truly over until Sylvando gets thrown in prison and a year passes before you and the gang are reunited and able to save him. You find him tortured and a shadow of his former self, and after making camp he escapes off into the wilderness in a frenzied attempt to kill himself. Then, just before he impales himself on a sharp rock he found, he finds an old pendant a ♥♥♥♥♥ gave to him when he was a boy and it opens a portal to a demonic dimension.
The portal engulfs you and the rest of the party inside it, and Sylvando proceeds to sacrifice the lives of you and the gang in exchange for becoming a god. Everyone is torn apart and eaten by demons except you and Jade.
You manage to survive due to your berserker-like rage that enables you to overcome the impossible; however Jade survives due to the demons holding her down as Sylvando flys down in his new form to rape her.
Enraged by this, you rush to save her but get held back due to a demon tightly gripping your left arm between its teeth. After several attempts to cut at the beast, your sword breaks and you ultimately decide to cut your own arm off so that you can run to save Jade.
After severing your arm, you’re pinned down and have your right eye gouged out as you’re forced to watch Sylvando rape Jade as he stares into your eyes.
The end
If it's not, please share whatever it is that you are smoking haha
I never saw or read Berserk. Looks like I can check that one off now I know how it ends :P hahah
Fair enough. I am certainly equal parts confused, AND interested in checking this out now.
great, thats what I suspected as well.
and the two luminary books was the adventure of the hero in dq11 and erdwin.
So the developers celebrated 30 years anniversary, you think thats why they included the DQ tie in?Because in Japan when you finished true ending you got a dlc code for ps4 via PSN that let you download and then play DQ1-3 on your ps4.
So like a gift to the fans, to remember the old days AND for newcomer to see how the franchise started, but by tying in DQ 3 ending with DQ 11 storyline it makes newcomers to DQ want to keep playing, even the old android/Snes version.
I mean, the CGI at the end shows the hero of DQ 1 and DQ 3.
ps! what im trying to say is, there is a reason why dq1 and dq3 has a cgi at the end, because you get to play those games- but in the western version we dont. so it might seem strange to add that in the ending, if you didnt know Japan got to play them on their ps4 as well.
Erik looks like the main character from dragon quest 6 btw...
