english texts

Hello everyone, i am from germany and i want to play the game with english texts, but when i change the language under properties it wont change the ingame text language. the problem is just with english texts, italian and so on works fine... anyone know how to fix this?

From what I have read on other threads it appears the subtitles languages will sync with the language you use on Windows... I have the same problem with french subtitles and i want to make them in english. Come on Steam... that shouldn't be a hard thing to fix...

Die englische Sprachoption wird von der in Windows eingestellten Sprache überschrieben. Ist euer PC also auf Deutsch, dann ist es das Spiel auch, nachdem ihr Englisch eingestellt habt. Um dies zu beheben, kopiert ihr die folgenden Zeilen in die Engine.ini Datei, welche sich in eurem DQXI-Ordner unter "My Games" befindet.

Culture=en

Bitte vorher noch sichergehen, dass das Spiel auch nicht läuft, sonst funktioniert es nicht.

I tried some things and it seams that only the english version is bugg. i changed language for germany and spanish and it works. its probably a problem with the codex of the language but we cant do anything to fix it. we need to wait for them to repair it....

it works fine in english for me but i think is what ever you set your windows language too.

ok i actually find a way guys do this and it will be fine :)

C:\Users\"user"\Documents\My Games\DRAGON QUEST XI\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

edit the engine.ini file and add this

[Internationalization]
Culture=en

[Broso]

This is such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Why not just offer a language setting in the options? What the actual ♥♥♥♥?
