Yes, the DS4 works natively. No, it doesn't have DS4 button prompts, so you're stuck with Xbox prompts.

Typical. Sorry, but i've put up with this from developers since the dualshock came out. Devs need to start supporting it natively. The game is ported from the PS4, for Christ's sake. Well, I'm not playing with the Xbox icons, so I'll just refund and buy it on my Playstation.

@Josiah Lightwood - That is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You're refunding a game because it doesn't have the button icons you want? Haha. The reason why so many games have Xbox button prompts is because the Xbox was controller was natively designed to work with the PC, the DS4 wasn't. If you wanna deprive yourself of a better version of a game just because the icons aren't to your liking, well good riddance then.

My DS4 has been working fine, with XBox button prompts, but hasn't rumbled yet. I'm at the first town, so I don't know if it would have or not, but suspect it probably would. Haven't tried with DS4Windows turned on yet.

I just closed the game and was about to try launching through big picture and see if I can get PS4 prompts... so it sounds like you have already successfully done it?

PC is all about choice he didn't get a choice he wanted so he decided against it you'd think since you said "deprive yourself of the better version" you'd get what makes PC a better experience in the first place and that is choice not just fancy graphics.

Very sorry that you misunderstood me the button prompts will still be Xbox but PS4 controllers in general will run with the game without jumping through hoops if you boot in big picture was my point sorry for the confusion. However now I'm seeing others say you can make it show PS buttons fine so idk whats going on.

...? What are you guys on about. I use ps4 controller and it displays the ps buttons just fine. Just make sure you have ps4 controller enabled in general controller settings.

No, its not stupid... whats stupid is playing through a 100 hour game with redneck button prompts when you're using DS4 and it's a playstation game.

It's a PC game when you buy it on PC not a PS4 game! I'm I missing something here? Are people emulating the PS4 game? Didn't think you could emulate the PS4 yet.
