The game become boring during Act 2...
...and its a shame, because i was enjoying a lot. But during the Act 2, you just revisit every single location with just a few changes, like some new caves or dungeons, or the Octagonia's casino...

I find myself playing other games instead of this one, and i really wanted to 100% DQXI, but im afraid im not going to do it, and i just wanted to know if there is some improvement or some major change during this Act that will keep me playing it.

I read that there is even an Act 3 (apparentely optional), and since i was going for the 100%, i wanted to do it too, but after seen how the game is progresing... i really need some "boost" to keep playing, i was in love with this title :(

Having to revisit old locations with new story events is a plus for me. The more time you get to spend in an area, the more you feel for that area. Most games once you are done, the only reason to return is for side quests

"Game bloat" is great if it continues to build the world and the characters.

Honestly I felt like Act 1 dragged and act 2 was when it started getting really good.

Exactly.

The end of Act 1 was really getting worse but I was hooked again for Act 2 and the post game.
Its done, the game caught me again :) I've played like 2 hours, just finished Octagonia and defeated the big sea lizard (cant remember his name right now). A couple of side missions, some islands exploration, a few succesful crafts on the forge, and of course, the charm. This game have so much charm, and i knew i have to keep trying it. Im totally in love again. Plus the stronger monster difficulty makes even the common battles interesting, what can i say about the bosses. Damn good game for sure.
Act 2 is where the majority of the character development happens. I thougroughly enjoyed it. Also, paying attention to minor details such as NPC dialogue can draw out some emotion in you. For example, in Act 1, all those people that were once happy and exuberant in life are suddenly dead or rock-bottom depressed in Act 2.

Act 1 was introductory. The game was on its course on being linear in Act 1. Suddenly, Act 2 hits like brick. World in ruins and the Luminary lost his powers and has to gather his comrades again. All the feels happen in Act 2 also; save for a few in Act 1.

Act 3 puts you in end-game content grinding and optional hardcore bosses with some story and lore closure. A lot of backtracking in Act 3.

I just finished the game and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ all the achievements last night. I need more DQ:11. That ending left me wanting more.

Not sure if the very last scene (dont think it's actually a spoiler) is actually the begining of DQXII or VIII (I admit, I didnt do DQ VIII... )

Actually the last scene was the beginning of DQ3 and how DQ11 is the prequel to all the DQ games. At least that's how Squenix gave it to us.
Just finished the game. What a great title. Im in the post-game right now, and i just want to go back to every town and talk with every single NPC to keep enjoying this wonderful world.

The final battles were awesome, but i must say that it was a bit dissapointing that Jasper was harder than the final boss (im playing on stronger monsters difficulty). And the final dungeon... wow, why dont every dungeon of the game is like that one. Yes, obvious, is the final one, but it would be great if the devs put some effort on the other dungeons, instead of making a bunch of corridors with very low details.

Aside form this minor complains, awesome title, and i hope i can get all the achievements too, but im afraid because of the casino ones, i totally hate casinos xD.

He just said he's in the post game. And that final dungeon is clearly thecastle at the end of act 2.

Not everyone likes the same things. I personally thought acts 2 and 3 were brilliant after a predictable and linear act 1.
act 2 and 3 were predicable.
