I still get those 40 FPS in Gondolia and drops hardly in certain points of citys overall.
But it got waaay better. Not a single other Game is doing this.
I recieve 80 FPS in Assassins Creed Origins atleast
130 FPS in Ni No Kuni 2 without ANY problems.
Only DQ11 is suckin d*cks performance-wise for me.
because aco is using your hardware and nnk isn't cpu bound in the slightest.
I would love some kind of fix for this. people seem to think I'm lying. my fps in gondolia during that street festival is around 57-54 depending on what I am looking at. during the day its like 1 fps higher.
Lowered res to 800x600 and the fps doesn't budge. lowered all game's settings to 1 or none and it doesn't budge. my usage is 68% on 2 cores and my gpu is practically asleep.
I'm running an i9 7940x; 64 GB DDR4 Ram, and a 1080ti. Might have something to do with it. Maybe turn off antialiasing? it could be too many people on the screen at once? :)
for me its gondolia during the festival (after getting the water from the cave) the fps hovers at 58 and drops to 54 unless I knock shadows down to 1 or lower the draw distance.
there are people that to this day refuse to believe arkham knight's launch build or an unmodded dark sould (ptde version) has no issues.
there's NO slow-downs on my end, i was asking where the other user had slowdowns. had you read the rest of the post, you'd notice this.
I'm not running on magic fairy dust, i am however running way less than 30% of my listed specs in terms of CPU usage. my GPU is at 98% usage however. I have been monitoring, but your assumption that i haven't been is funny AF.
Good luck. wasn't here to ask for your help, i came to help the other user who was having problems. You're welcome to fix his stuff though :P
I don't feel like talking to idiots about stuff they don't understand. I've been building custom gaming systems for 23 years guy. you're not gonna teach me something i already know.
To the user having the frame drops, let me know where you're getting your drops the worst.
I'm in Gondolia right now, and have had no issues there, but i'm past the event where the people are at their max in quantity. It may be a similar issue to the field slowdowns you were having, where shadows aren't able to keep up. There's a lot of other things it could be too. Try the Fast-sync option listed in the comments as well, that's what i've been running on. I've had no issues with it on.
I HAVE FIXED MY ISSUE! Add me if you want to know what I did!
HAHA... yeah... i've had plenty of problems with Arkham Knight, and Dark Souls (original version) but DSFix took care of that for me in Dark Souls. Sometimes the best solution is to stop waiting for a patch from the game's dev team and find a mod that fixes the issues yourself. I'm sure there's plenty of DX fixes in the mod community that you could look at.
My RAM Speed wasn't set up properly.
I have a 3000 RAM Kit. Go in Windows 10 under cortana and type in: "CMD"
The console opens and enter this command:
"wmic memorychip get speed"
This shows your ram speed on every Ram you've entered.
Mine was 1333mhz. I've changed it to 2400mhz (as fast as I could since I wanted to check if it works) - it works.
Gondolia smooth 60fps. Problem solved.
i'm "full of it" because i disabled frame limiting? ok :P
you keep thinking that. just shows how stupid you are X3
Meanwhile i can provide szcreenshots and proof. what can you do to disprove what i claim?
https://www.pcgamer.com/dragon-quest-11s-pc-port-is-barebones-but-it-looks-great-anyway/
"By changing the 'FrameRateLimit' value to 144 in the config file GameUserSettings.ini (find it in Documents\My Games\DRAGON QUEST XI\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor), I was able to circumvent the framerate limit and I haven't noticed any timing issues as a result. Whew. We also tried setting the framerate value to 240 and confirmed we could get more than 200 fps at 1080p with a GTX 1080 Ti."
Nothing but silence. god forbid someone has a better computer than you and makes you feel vulnerable and jealous. makes them "full of it" :P
meanwhile... in reality, i'm playing at 1440p at 144hz. what are you playing at Farkenel? 3FPS? jealous that your celeron can barely run the game? boo hoo. troll elsewhere :P
you're good for nothing other than some giggles ;3
do you even own this game? you're level 0. should say something to those who read your comments. would it be better to talk in cave speak? maybe you'd understand that better considering you're a troll ;3
I knew there was something wrong. Is not normal that my pc with a 6700k runs without drops while a 8700 won't.
My it was stupid on my end. layer 8 problem ;-)
