How to make tokens in Puerto Valor casino?

Lost 14k gold in a 30 minutes...

Poker seems not worth it, the hands you can get usually only give back the amount you put in and to make profit you need uber hands, pure luck.

Slot machines are also pure luck and drain tokens so fast I have no clue how to make any profits.

Wait until later when you get to another casino and play roulette using that trick from DQ8 and bam easy money if you're lucky or even if you aren't lucky really because the autosave to the tables is literally right before the tables. Just be cheap if you want to make tokens and don't care about blah blah blah honor system blah.

the story event that opens that table is very obvious and you can't miss it. So yeah just progress through the story

yeah the 5 reel slots are nice(9x10token), i went from 1000 down to 20, then recovered and quickly made it to 100k

I see a lot of people talking about hitting it large in 30 minutes to an hour. Oh boy do I wish I were that lucky.

I bought 120 coins, then played poker for about 20 minutes until I had around 5,000 coins. Then I spent over 10 hours just pressing the button on the regular slots betting 90 coins each time before I got around 130,000 coins.

I bought the recipe, the greatsword, and the bonus exp armor.

But now I'm thinking I shouldn't have thrown away 100k on the greatsword and instead saved it for the prizes at the next casino.

The normal slot machines work best for me. I always earn tokens sometimes I lose, but as long as I keep betting max, I always come out ahead eventually. I got a little over a million tokens from a hour or two of grinding the 100 token slot machines last night.

100 token? At Puerto Valor the highest slot I can use at the moment has a max bet of 90 coins. Took me over 10 hours of playing the slots to get the 130k I mentioned. Guess my luck just sucks cause I see a lot of people talking about a million in about an hour. :/
