Messed up getting past guard..spoilerish

Fortune Lady takes me for 100. Then I end up getting the Dogs use to get past the guard for the holy water and 2 buzz berries. Found out I could bypass that whole thing just by letting the lady write the fake love letter. Frustrated......

So? It's just 2 ways to do it... Holy water is cheap and buzz berries are free as a gathering resource.

There is a person up in the high areas near the inn that will give you a tip about the innkeeper. Eriks friend. She can write you a fake love letter that will get you past that guard. You cannot get it without the tip however.

I knew I was getting scammed by the fortune teller, but I paid anyway because I wanted to see the result. Same as the tips guy. I mean 100 gold ain't much in the grand scheme of things.

The reason I was frustrated is it cost me 100 and 2 Buzz berries to do something that could have had no cost.
