So...how exactly DO you beat the final boss? (spoiler)

Act 2 final boss was manageable, and an actually fun level of challenge. Act 3 final boss is well, to be blunt the final trial boss was more fun to fight than he was. Is he just a big old HP sponge with lots of broken stats or what? Before you ask yeah, everyone's at or near level 99....

I just beat him normally -- got him the first try, didn't seem that hard. I didn't realise using the [thing] changed anything. I wanna go try that now.

I used the magic burst pep power in the begining. Just give Serena an elfin elixir to get her to max again. Also, the sword of light should displel the cloud of darkness he has on. You don't need it though. I beat it with the MC using the brilliant blade greatsword. Also I abused Yggdragons blessing pep power. It can be dispelled though.

Yeah I was having trouble with him at my first attempt too, got crushed by a bug. Then I realized the game gave you a hint about his dark aura every turn. You need to do something to dispel it, and that by using the Super Sword of Light as an item.
