Suggestions for Sylvando?
So, how should I build the guy? I was originally thinking whips, because... he's so perfect for whips. But any suggestions would be appreciated. After Respecing him completely, he's got 41 points to spend. Any thoughts on where to slap them first?

Also curious on what people have to say here. I went with whips as well.

I've always used swords with him and his alluer/whatever skills are really really good.

I heavily use allure and whips with Slyv, but more so allure than anything else. Boost his charm, much like Jade and sit back and enjoy the DPS. Though truth be told by end game his skill charts is one of the few you can fill out by like 80-85 unlike the rest. Meaning you can just do w/e you want with him.

I had him on a whip for most of the game, makes random encounters a touch easier with status effects etc.

End-end game just about everyone gets more group/all damage done anyway, his main damage dealers rely on charm and not weapons, and I put him on daggers because his endgame daggers have +charm on them (and look cooler than the swords). Charm is going to benefit his skills i'm going to be using, and on the turns he doesnt need to heal i can use him to set up a status effect for eric.

(although I did end up getting eric into dual wield boomerangs so that last point becomes a bit moot)

Go down to Hustle Dance. Unspec litheness (you keep Hustle Dance) then go whips. You'll mostly be using him for Oomph and healing but on trash the CC from whips is very nice.

He almost never attacked for me in tougher fights. Was just buff/semi healer and when he learned Ladies First I'd just use it on jade/serena and let them take extra turns.

I had Erik go dual boomerangs so I had Sylvando cover daggers. He also learns the passive that gives higher chance of ailments faster than Erik so I feel he was more useful in that regard.

i went dual swords, casino platinum swords are nice early on, and the damage is alright on sapped monsters

Sylvando does get charm boosts from earlier swords as someone mentioned the +charm daggers.

Overall his melee aint great but he's great for early buffs or when dealing with beguiled enemies. Also his hustle dance is quite cheap and early to get.

Personally I'd always focus on getting his good skills on the tree, then just go whatever with weapons. Ended up swords on him

Dual daggers. He's a Charm machine that can kill things by gesturing erotically at them and heal just as effectively as Rab.
