Romance options?

I was wondering if there are romance options in this game. If I were the hero of this game, I'd love to have Jade as my wife.

Well, a monster falls in love with the hero and he literally couldn't give a single ♥♥♥♥. So, no? With how unemotional he is and how so different he acted as a child leads me to just head canon he went through something that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ him up as a kid. He went from being pretty vocal to an absolute mute.

Play the game in 2d. Only addition I know about and not relevant to your question.

There is one in the base game, the definitive edition will have more (including Jade). If you already have the game on PC, it's not worth buying it again for that though. IMO. lol

Yes, right now the Definitive edition is only coming to switch. I know about the romance options from a slew of interviews and articles online, one where Horii himself explained that they were adding them in due to fan feedback. Explaining that they wanted to make the hero feel more like the 'player's' hero. Apprently Hendrick, and Jasper will even be romancable in some shape or form.

The point of age restriction laws is that the mind of a child is still in development, and sexual engagement can scar said development. Hers is well developed. Well, to a point after adolescence... How old is Serena? Whatever, my point is she still isn't technically a child. Although this does beg the question... puberty does some pretty massive chemical overhauls to your brain... what happens when you go through it twice? For that matter, why DID she de-age when her magic was stolen and why didn't she re-age when she got it back? Is that ever actually explained? Mind you, I'm only a little bit into act 2, so if it's a spoiler...
