It's not really an engine, I used Electron, which is essentially a way to package Node and Chromium as a native app. It could technically be made to work with Steamworks' API if I were to use a third party library called Greenworks, but when I looked into it the whole thing looked like a giant mess. I might revisit it at some point, but currently don't have enough free time to really dive deeply into it.
I'm glad you want to do things with your game to keep it interesting, but maybe you shouldn't be doing that with the achievements.
Game development should not be based on somebody being unable to code a working website.
The only issue here is that achievements that are not unlockable (not coded yet) should probably not be published to the public.
There's certainly nothing wrong with future updates / DLC coming with new achievements.
You are right. It was a bad idea to have an unreachable achievement. I removed it for now.
I'm on Ubuntu, so that is probably why :-)
Yea, at the moment only the windows build supports them, sorry!
Thats ok man, just give a shout whenever it works.
Have a nice day and a happy new year :-)
