To all who are complaining about the update when they don't have a dlc, it's become more and more common in the las few years to include all dlc in the games and just pay to unlock them, a recent example is Cyberpunk's Phantom Liberty, so the update rolls out to all.

I modded my Switch and have been dumping my own games/updates/DLC for some time now. Some DLC is still an actual add-on you buy that actually extends the base game, but there's a lot of cases where all the DLC is included in the base game cart/disc/digital download and you're paying like $15-30 for little more than bits of code to "unlock" it. It's obvious when I dump my DLC and see that it only takes a few hundred MB or so. So these huge updates that are many gigs in size, they're for updating the base game + DLC data that's already part of that.

I don't support it as a creative myself. It's a pretty lazy, shady, money-grubbing approach--and honestly, it's a bit of a turn-off as far as Arise DLC goes, because I did enjoy the main game enough that I *was* interested in BtD.

Beyond scummy to release the costume pack SEPERATE FROM THE $40 DLC for an additional $15. Should have just been part of the DLC. Absolutely no reason to not include it other than greed.

yea but the common folks gets 2.0 overhaul. In tales of arise the common folks gets nothing.

Did anyone manage to find what monsters drop Titanium Vambrace in the DLC version for the side quest even if i'm not a hero? i can't find it at all.

Looks cool but im gonna pass. Too expensive for too little. Would have preferred the effort put into another Tales of arise sequel instead.

Not even getting into the mediocre story or blatant lack of anything fun in the DLC, being forced to use a preset party stat instead of your actual game save is beyond retarded.

not matter if you buy dlc or not, they will force update on your game, i talk about steam game in general, not only tales of arise

this game already re use a lot of the same enemies and this dlc is just more of the same and the same crying about rrrrrrrrracism. then the other stuff like not having ur stats carry over.

i just wanted a dlc that ADDED and continue on the main story right afther the last boss. dont care if it skips time a bit but with NEW enemies maybe a new attack 1/2 for each character. also a new narritive cause this race crying gets old very fast. ( most space wizzards were sadistic for the sake of being sadistic to humans or even them selves)

whatever. i hope their next game is more on par like their old games. vesperia may be grindy of the skils but i liked the characters even english voiced a lot. could NOT say the same in Arise forced me japanese. and more i like but i talked for to long here for a kinda dead post XD

This DLC was really disappointing and the quests that require you to kill mobs with a specific attack and then they die before you can even use the attack because you are usually over-leveled for them is so stupid. The new character was bland and generic and sorry but they didn't even give me a wedding scene for Shionne and Alphen despite having a literal wedding planning quest WTF? Yikes. Waste of money.
