Like when you play Rinwell yourself she will charge up and then store a spell automatically? Or you can't cancel any spell charging she does? Because regardless of which setting you are in, your inputs should override any of that. if you press dodge, she should dodge out of any attack. If you want to use a specific spell even in auto, you can.

It's just that Rinwell can't dodge until she's finished the first part of the spell animation. When her hand is above the book, she can dodge. If that's not the problem, I don't have anything else for now.

The combat mode differences mainly are;
manual; you do it all
semi-auto; you do attack inputs and the character will run into range to hit
auto; it plays for you if you want, you can play auto as semi-auto by just doing your own inputs before the game does them for you.

The character you are playing as gets especially targeted so playing as Rinwell can lead to her getting focused by multiple enemies making it really difficult to get any spells out, let alone dodge them in time. This is very notable in boss fights. Bosses almost exclusively focus on who you are playing in my experience.

she will charge up and then just shoot the spell automatically. haha
Do you know how to fix it?
Cuz I don't want to charge the seplls lol
It takes too long time for speedy battles and also it doesn't feel like I control the character.
Oh and yes, I can cancel the spell itself with the dodge but not charging.
I just simply want to make her to not charge the spells automatically.

I'm not sure I really understand what you want fixed. Is it the charge up, the automatic shooting or is it automatically picking spells and charging them up?

I feel like we need to figure out what we mean by charging (automatically) maybe? What I mean is the time it takes for the spell to be ready. Either for storing in her book or attacking.

Whatever it is, her magic works like; spells all have cast times, the time it takes for the little ring that pops up to finish and how long it takes for her to animate the attack. That is just how it works. If you don't want her casting immediately after charging, hold the spell button. If you have the walking while charging a spell title skill, you can walk during the charging and while you hold the spell.

If you are holding a spell, you can also press attack to store the spell(unique to rinwell). Stored spells come out after any spell you cast, or combines with other spells to make higher tier spells.

This is just how spell casting in the game works, you can't fix that. You don't get to do acrobatics and just fling spells with no charging.

Ummm... I mean, when I just simply press her spell button, she just automatically charges it up and then automatically shoot it.
I didn't even hold the button for it she just automatically charge the spell
For example, I just simply used "Spread" cuz I just press the button, not hold, but she casted "Freeze Lancer" which is the chared version of it(while she casted the spell I didn't even touch my keyboard)
and also she just shot it automatically(Maybe it's obvious cuz I wasn't pressing any button at that moment)
This is what I meant...
I'm so sorry english isn't my native languge, so I think I confused you

Your English is not a problem, communication barriers are a thing for us to just work through. I sure would have to entirely rely on unreliable Google translate if I were to speak Korean instead. You probably actually know more than one language, at least it seems like it isn't just google translate, unlike your average American. Good for you.

Yes. When you just press a spell button(no holding), she will charge it up and then automatically attack with it with that one button press. If you've stored a spell either through manually holding a spell and storing it, or by using her boost attack to interrupt and steal a spell from an enemy, it can combine with your spell to make a stronger one. If they can't combine, Rinwell will cast both spells, one after the other.

It's possible you had stolen an enemies spell. In at least the first half of the game, spread is commonly used by enemies. So if you have stolen a Spread and then go to cast your own, they will combine to make Freeze Lancer.

It isn't possible for her to charge Spread up into Freeze Lancer without having had stored a Spread in her book. Or you can also just store a Freeze Lancer if you have access to that. There's more than 2 tiers of spells so storing a Freeze Lancer to combine with another spell can be useful.

Just to reiterate it simply; Rinwell will charge up and attack with a spell with a single button press. If you hold the spell button Rinwell can store a spell or walk around, if you just let go of the spell button, she will attack. She can also steal it from an enemy that is casting a spell by using her boost attack, stolen spells are stored in the book. Rinwell will combine the spell she is actively casting with one in her book if possible.
