I mean, if skyrim has multiplyaer mods, does it mean this game can too? Can you mod in a multiplayer function? I just think it would pretty cool to play this game online.

Maybe, but first it would need to be as popular as Skyrim, and that my friend will never happen.

Is it possible? absolutely yes. For example, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, the local coop was added by Durante (his team), while they fixed the game too (NISA hired them). BUT, it cost money, and I dont think BandaiNamco is willing to pay for it.

it's not possible lol . that game have a lot of haters and cheaters . why bother to make a coop mod for a game that isn't even worth Half of skyrim?:p
we lost 40k people in a week so good luck with that dream
