It is true that the in-game language (texts, menus, etc.) is tied to the OS language?
Like, i have my OS with PT-BR language but i like to play games in english. If i buy this i will need to change my OS to english everytime i decide to play the game? Why? Why do this in a game in 2021?

Is false. You can choose any language from Steam Properties (Library > Properties > Language)

Yes, i come in the discussion forum of a game i have interest of buying, i ask a simple question and then get attacked by two users accusing me of having an illegal copy of the game and this is "no reason". right. You probably saw that i'm from Brazil and thinks that everyone in here don't buy games, prejudice plain and simple. Anyway, this is in Valve's hands now.
Piracy isn't an attack from me if you're having trouble understanding what I posted.

If he had legit steam version, he could have checked "properties" and see language options.
Maybe you need to read the OP again. There's no reason to think he has any version of the game, legit or otherwise. Some vague idea of how you think one type of crack might work combined with idle speculation as to why he may have made the post based on that same vague and unproven idea is not what I would call compelling evidence. Or evidence at all for that matter.

It's a bit like thinking you've hit a bullseye while blindfolded in the dark when you're not even sure whether there's a target in the first place or not.
I never said it's proof.

But it's very reasonable to assume that.

No, it isn't. Read the OP and the post you quoted again for why. I never thought you claimed it was proof, I'm explaining why it isn't even reasonable. I really can't see why it would even cross your mind.

Ironically, the only reason I can think of why you might've jumped to the conclusion of piracy is because you have some knowledge about piracy you're downplaying. Out of all the posts here, yours are the posts with the most evidence of someone who might be pirating. Yes, I know you own the game. That's my point though, the person who looks the most likely to be a pirate verifiably owns the legit version.

The OP doesn't even have the faintest whiff of evidence pointing at piracy. They literally just asked a question someone might ask if they were thinking about buying a game. Asking about a game's language options is just normal stuff people ask about games. Nothing about the question or the way it was worded suggests piracy.

How is it "very reasonable" to conclude something that's exactly the opposite of what the evidence points toward?
