Which edition and DLC to buy?

I am interested in picking this game up. I am not really interested in cosmetic stuff but I am reading that some costumes come with more skills? If I wanted to have access to all the skill nodes and abilities in the game what version and DLC do I need to purchase?

i'd just recommend you grab the ultimate edition on cd keys for 76 bucks, will net you all the important DLCs i guess, it will have all the skills and such.

Then. Get the base game.

The DLC artes add absolutely zero to the game what so ever and just add flair, thats all.

There are 3 titles of each character those require dlc: japanese costume, swimsuit costume, school uniform costume. You can beat the game w/o these titles, they don't affect to much to your character.
IGNORE all boost DLC, if anyone wants to play the game easier and faster, use cheat engine for free.

what you say is totally dumb XD . if they have fun with their boosts it's up to them dude . that's not cheating lol . a lot of players don't care about the story,they just rush it and quit the game and move on . it's a solo game,no competition etc so keep your opinion to yourself and let the people do what they want . it won't affect you anyway omegalul . what matter is they support the developpers for their work. and have fun in their own way :)

So what is your problem here? I give my advice, and people choose to follow or not, I can't force anyone do it.
What is your definition of cheating in single player game? Use purchased items from game publisher to make game easier, and use 3rd tool to make the game easier, different ways but same result: change level, add items, booster..., and especially, it doesn't affect other players.
And the end, we support the developer if it worth, right?
