Open the start menu, go to arts, go to his page, and go to the art and you can press A to cast the art and pick a target and it will force them do to it. You can also manually take control of them and force them to cast it yourself (since you are wanting resurrection I assume that means you died and want to be revived) you can swap to playing them by either holding LB and pressing the d-pad on their portrait (the little red flag will move over their head, meaning you are controlling them) or you can swap characters in the swap menu from the start menu.
