Then again, 8 hours is decent I guess.
It ain't worth the price tho.

Edit: Wait, 8 hours for main story. That mean 5 hours to do the side quests left for me which is plenty of time :D
Don't listen to the 20 hours shtick, it's corporate ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to sell the DLC full price...
Also don't listen to players telling they already finished the game in X hours.
They hide details on how they played and what they did (full 100% ? Side quests ? Story only ? ).
The main story can be played in 6-8 hours in the best setup (no death, easy, rush the story, go straight to the story marker, played Alphen or Rinwell to speed up...) to 10-12 hours (hard/chaos, lot of death, listen to the story, talk to NPCs, craft stuffs and explore the map...).
Add some side quest a majority will never do and you will be at 10-16 hours (4-7 hours side quest).
I'm sure you can lower DLC story down to 4-5 hours if you bought the level boosters for the main game (carries over) to be instantly level 100 and break the game in half.
Good to know. With my game style of exploring everywhere, talking to everyone, listening/reading through all dialogues and fighting every battle, it's likely that the story will take me 10-12 hours, and if we assume I do the side quests and don't look at guides and try to figure out everything myself, 7 extra hours for side quests could sound realistic. This results in a total time of 17-19 hours, with possibly a few extra hours if I try to refight some bosses with better strategy to save consumables. So there we have 20 hours. It's still likely that I won't buy the DLC until it's on sale, though.
I guess I won't bother buying the DLC now, Maybe Next year
Uh yeah, the DLC just came out. Game's been out for over two years.
Usually by now there are so many dlc's dumped out that I want, that half the time I end up saying screw that and just running base game. Yet, although this has ♥♥♥♥ loads of them, I don't care about buying ingame money, or equipment to make life easier and the only time I have ever owned costume dlc's is when I have got games for %80 off that including everything. Beyong the dawn appears mediocre at best.
So, so far, I have nothing to pay on dlc's before I start.
Thank you Bandai :D
