its actually doesnt load so you can "enjoy" the DLC more..
i totally get why people upset.. but they can just enjoy the DLC as it is.. its also more challenging than base game..
the final boss on base game was joke, because i overleveled.. on this one its a real challenge, like beating post game boss on base game..
idk if overcapping the level is good idea, since not everyone getting lv100 unless they grind + play the post game after ending..
but we dont really have to grind and we got everything eventually, just the accesory that needs grind...
what a backwards take. they specifically swapped to UE4 in order to keep up with the market. their old engine was so far behind it wasnt worth to maintain it.
UE4 has much better work flow and many things are easier to implement, especially making a 3rd person action game.
Tbh, so far, the UE4 games I enjoyed are stuff like RTS and 2D-HD games.
Look at From Soft, they keep their own engine and keeps trucking on, or Capcom, a smaller company than Bamco, who makes their own engine.
What I care is a new playable characters and new Artes or even some new gameplay mechanics.
Nazamil should be playable.
the story is meh
the new character is playable
there are no new arts
no new weapons
no new gears
no new maps
for the amount of hype they gave it, theres nothing to show for it. it was just a bad DLC.
yes, and also no.
it has to do with expecatations. sure, a costume dlc might be super overpriced for what you get, but ppl that want it will not care and buy it anyways. all others will just ignore it. in any way, ppl know what to expect. an expansion however creates a certain expectation. ppl will want new areas, new enemies, content that differs from the main game, adds something to the game thats more than just more of the base game. and on this end, the new dlc doesnt deliver. its rehashed locations, boring dialogue, a meh storyline, rehashed enemies that got reskinned, yeah, but play out exactly the same. no new skills or twists on the battle system. no new playable characters.
Too bad is does not fix the NPC pop in issues.
Most of us want the next Tales entry, and not this cash crab DLC.
