Edit: Okay here's the image of those costumes. You might have got with those Bandai Namco. Need that Velvet costume for Shionne.

What if we already have rhe ultimate edition? Can we just buy the expansion and get them or is everything sold separately (which would be BS for supporting the game earlier).
Again.
It's Bamco.
These costumes don't come with the expansion. They will be a separate purchase along with the expansion itself.
And I hear you. I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition back on original release, and it doesn't matter here. If we want the Expansion and the new DLC's we'll need to shell out around US$40-45 for it all.
The actually story part is the Expansion, and that's going to be US$30. No getting around that unfortunately. Obviously, you don't need to buy the new Classic Costume DLC or the Arranged BGM Pack either, which will be separate purchases from the expansion.
Yeah, I think it's reasonable, assuming that the 20+ hour claim is legit, and it's actually good content. I thought they would try and charge a bit more for it, to be honest.
But I guess the new Costume Pack and stuff is a way to get more out of people when they easily could have included that.
The DLC have clearly explained
Pre-order now and get the following content as a bonus for the Beyond the Dawn Expansion:
• Elegant Costume Pack
- Special costume and hairstyle for Alphen and Shionne
- 4 Exclusive Cooking Recipes
Mabo Curry Bun Recipe
Fisherman's Hot Pot Recipe
Eastern Rice Recipe
Fruit Sandwich Recipe
- 12 Food Items
The current 30$ DLC are prepurchase version which included all of that. The Expansion story itself is not 30$.
I don't understand what you're trying to say here. The Expansion is US$30 regardless if you pre-order and get the bonuses or not.
And that's enough to make me not want to buy the DLC at all, I liked the game enough to buy the ultimate edition twice (on ps4 and here) but it's always the same with these "ultimate" editions, they're never THE ultimate edition. Lesson learned, especially for Bamco and Capcom games.
