DLC downloaded, but cannot access them?

I bought the Ultimate Edition (flame as much as you want), and wanted to check if the DLC has successfully been applied to the game, because there are some games that have problems with DLCs, but when going to the main menu -> DLC it shows "Connection Error". My internet connection is working and the Antivirus doesn't have a problem. Any other way to check the DLC or does anybody know an easy fix before I contact support/issue refund?

You could try to verify files and restart PC first. It's possible to claim DLC as soon as the story begins (iirc).

I noticed this too. You can't access it until you have started a new game.
