However, the main Story is simplistic with typical friendship as the theme. But the Future arc of the story has a more interesting storyline.
How so? The Main Story's Theme is Knowing the Strength to Protect
If any other classics are re-released on PC at all, I'd expect the next one to be Xillia (>1 mil units sold on PS3).
Considering all cross-platform releases (Zestiria, Berseria, Arise) sold upwards of 1-2 mil units, they might think it's just not worth it and their money is better spent working on new Tales titles and possibly new IPs like Scarlet Nexus.
