Any tips on combo on this game?
Hi, I'm new to this game. Currently, I will auto-attack 3 times, then spam artes randomly (trying to bounce enemy up and down) until I run out of AG, then auto attack again. Am I doing it right? I watched some 1 minute 100-hit continuous combo on youtube and it's so cool.
I wonder is there any place to practice combo?

Focus on performing perfect evades and doing a counter edge afterword (there is a timestamp for the counter edge information in the video description) that is usually the easiest way to get Break status and starting combos easier. Or try to watch for the word Break to show up when normal attacking or using artes and you can combo from there. Use the combos in the video as a start and once you learn those try to use some new artes to learn how to fit them in for your own combos.

If there are artes in the combo section you don't have there are spreadsheets in the description that explains how to unlock every arte if you would like to use that information.

Yeah, it is fine. Dont need to worry about combo too much, just play as how you like. Many of those combo videos are only possible as you keep playing and unlock teammates, and more AG.

You can practice combo in the Arena at the 3rd town, just choose the mode where enemies wont get damaged unless they are "downed" at the arena.

Tales games tend to be the kind of games where your first playthrough is mostly going to be you stumbling through fights, learning mechanics, etc. It's at the end game and subsequent playthroughs where you might start pulling off the cool stuff.

As for actual tips, well, you can do a ground auto-attack combo and an aerial auto-attack combo in one combo, so hitting them on the ground, then using an arte to throw them in the air, hitting them several more times, then knocking them back to the ground is your best bet at this point. And more importantly, you will unlock alot of upgrades throughout the game; more AG, ways to recover AG, boost attacks, overlimit, a way to equip more artes, and so on, and there is simply no way to do all the crazy stuff you've seen in videos until you start getting those.
