Game won't launch

Anyone had this? Won't Launch on steam, reinstalled and verified twice. All my other games launch fine and no mods installed... kind stumped

I had the same problem, for me it was the npc draw distance fix that was causing the problem. I had to delete the .dll from the install folder. I guess it's not compatible with the update. I'm just about to see if they updated the fix because now the problem is back. In case you forgot, it's located in (wherever you installed the game)\Tales of Arise\Arise\Binaries\Win64 and it's the xinput dll, just rename it or delete it for now.

There is an updated one at nexusmods. Works for me. Sorry if this doesn't help, somehow didn't notice at first that you didn't have any mods installed but for anybody having this problem I'll leave this up as a solution.

I've got this issue where I keep getting a fatal error on launch too. Completely removed off my system, even deleted the %APPDATA folders for good measure. Still whenever I try to run it, keeps crashing. 60 hours in, and now I can't complete it.

Now trying to downpatch it via the steam console, but really uncertain if it's even downloading right now.
