I hope this game brings the modders over as it can only mean it's popular.

Yeah, it is now probably easier to mod. So I think there will be more mods.

I'm not sure if bandai namco like to support mods for their game. In particular a crossplatform title. But I totally agree, modding in games is a thing that add A LOT of replayability.

It can transform absolute garbage in something cool (like skyrim :p) and it extend the gamelife in years. So I hope they will considere it.

It'll exist for sure, hell there were some texture modding shenanigans going on with Zestiria and Berseria... So you can expect it here with an engine that better allows for that.

However, I doubt they'll release a modding kit or other official modding tool to help make mods... as they've never done it before and since they don't really have confidence in PC sales you shouldn't expect them to, either.

To put it short, yes there will be mods but it probably won't be officially supported. Don't expect anything fancier than texture mods or basic model swaps unless a mod community really takes off like what sort of happened with code vein's mod community.

Judging from previous titles on steam, this is likely going to get a few. I'm personally hoping for a 21:9 aspect ratio one, assuming the game doesn't already support it natively.

unlike previous games, this one is using UE4 which is very mode friendly. installing mods is as simple as drag and dropping pak into installation folder

I could imagine some really great mods for this game, kinda been thinking of learning to making some of my own.
