Is the DLC auto installed in the game?

You need to "claim" it from the DLC menu (you will see a notification).

Download Shop in the Game's menu (start)
Ingame: System >Unclaimed DLC items

thank you very much , Why they have to hide it and make it so hard to find like that . I thought it will already be in the game inventory

It's not that bad, really, at least they let you choose which part of the dlc you want (I wanted to get the outfits while leaving out items/gald/SP etc).

I do agree that it can be confusing the first time though.

Thanks for your help, some of the older tales game put the dlc right in the inventory I think so I thought it will be the same this time. If I buy a DLC then I will obviously use it so I just Don't get why the devs made us to do an extra steps just to get the stuffs we already paid for

Just giving more choice: not many players are compelled by how the dlc were bundled: if you buy separately a costume bundle, you also get items, which may put off some players one way or another.
