Are campfire scenes missable?
By this I mean the one-to-one talks when you sleep.

Nothing is missible in-game except for one of the Owls

Thanks. Which owl?

Also, if campfire scenes aren't missable, why can I not talk to the other characters when I sleep at the same campfire?

there is a cool-down period of an hour (I think) for each time you bond with each character

and the owl that is missable is the one in a big ship when going after one of the lords (I wont spoil it for you but you'll know when the time comes) the female lord.

Nothing missable, including owls.... The campfire has an hour refresh rate so if you screw around for an hour you should see more conversations (if you have them available) and you can do all of them late game though it would be a slag since again every skit refreshes after an hour so it's better to do them while playing whenever possible to make life easier.

The owl mentioned that everyone thinks is missable is onboard a moving fortess that because unavailable because of story progression BUT everything washes up on the shore of the small island town that you also wash up on along with any chest you missed meaning it's not missable from what I've read and the screenshots floating around reddit.

Here's a link to a reddit person who proved it, it contains spoilers though so only click if don't care:

um that guy updated his post, nothing is missable (ach wise) it all washes up at the beach like 20 chests in the water, looks kewl tho (and the owl).

However!! the herb which I think is sage may be "losable". One does respawn at the very first spot of the battle map in thisilym but after u move forward altho i dont think its related to the one on the ship.

No, they aren't missable. What happens is you can't trigger the opportunity to bond with the unchosen character(s) until a certain game time period afterwards (maybe an hour or two). By choosing Rinwell over Law, let's say, you're choosing to bond more with Rinwell now, and the opportunity to bond with Law's will only appear after an hour or so again when you choose to camp next. In this sense, you should make sure that you try to camp every once in a while even if you have an Inn to use just to check if there's someone who you can bond closer with.

EDIT: Sorry, realized I basically didn't respond to the topic at all so ignore beyond here:
There's definitely a dungeon in the game that doesn't exist after you clear it and there's an owl in it. Thus the owl located there has no way of being acquired which is quite harsh. It's very hard to miss if you basically "go everywhere" and respond to Hootle's cue's by looking for it. However, missing it locks you out of getting 6 artifacts from the last 6 owls. Those artifacts give you the NG+ benefit options to carry over stuff, and NG+ is the only way you can fix the mistake if you don't have a prior save game.

This may be the most punishing, lasting mistake that can be made in a single playthrough in the game.

"Getting Closer" option with companions has an IN-Game cooldown of 1h.
That means, every 1h IN the game you can return to any campfire and get the option to talk with one companion.
So. You will not miss any one-to-one convo with them.

You can watch every single Unlocked skit at the camp too. Even those you missed.
Some specific skits can be unlocked by clearing Training Halls with all chars and the team battle. Some others by cooking every food with each character. Kisara has few skits through fishing as well.

The only missable thing in the game is one Owl. But If you explore every area you visit through and through, you cant really miss it.

Again, not missable... the owl in question is the butterfly wings and it washes up on Thistlym...
