Really worth it to buy?/

Can I expect this game to be as same as Code Vein.. I'm thinking of buying it because of the looks, but the gameplay looks stale to me.. PLS advice..

Nope, it is not the same as Code Vein, it an Action-base RPG. The gameplay flow is similar to most Turn-based RPG, but you just replace the turn-based combat with an Action-based one. But some parts of the gameplay elements did inspired by Code Vein.

Gameplay nothing like code vein. Code vein is dodge/parry -> attack game, while Arise will be more like slasher but with 6 characters on a table (basically 4+2)

closest to FF is 15 I guess but if arise is like any other tales game, it's still way different. You usually learn moves that combo off you basic attack and can be very fun to learn and improve your combo game. What I love about most of the games are the characters and how they interact with each other as they get closer.

Just because you suck at it doesn't mean it's trash... Combat mechanics is pretty decent.. But character models are quite cringe as it reminds me of 2015-17 anime MMD's..

the game is trash. Graphics are okay but the level design is terrible. The white cathedral place is just copy paste corridors and rooms. The gameplay is basically dodge/parry = you win. the game is easy and boring af. i've fully completed it and it was very unmemorable

I have played Code Vein. It's a good game if you like Souls-like and if you love God Eater series since it's a spin-off from the franchise lorewise. But if you like JRPGs - adventuring, do quests, activities like fishing or camping or cooking, this is the type of game Tales of Arise delivers.

It's like FFXV if you love free roaming adventure. You can camp, cook and bond with party members since it's the good quality of life parts that attracted me into playing FFXV as well as buying this game. Driving, learning new recipes, going places to eat, fishing kinda makes me love the other side activities besides the main story of the game.

If you like Souls-like or slasher, you can try the other Souls-like game, for slasher you can try God Eater since it's like Monster Hunter but they hunt Aragami. Or Scarlet Nexus since it's a new release.
